Conceptual Restoration was built upon the foundation of over 30 years in the roofing and masonry restoration trades. We pride ourselves on cost-effective solutions that enable our clients to save money while maintaining our own dedication and hard-working output.
The President of Conceptual Restoration, Peter Leonforte, made his start in the industry in 1979 as a 1st year apprentice within Local 66 of the International Brotherhood of Bricklayers. He has personally contributed to the restoration of some of New York City’s finest landmarks including the New York Public Library, the Woolworth Building, and the Empire State Building.
Peter assumed the role of Vice President of Operations of Mark Contracting in 1989 through which he supervised the masonry restoration of iconic New York City structures such as the Plaza Hotel and the Waldorf-Astoria. Since then he’s worked through every aspect of the business from estimates and bidding to the final closeout.
Conceptual Restoration was established in the summer of 2004 and has earned eight years of success thanks to Peter’s vast industry experience, innovative solutions, and skilled, hard-working team. The company’s portfolio includes the restoration of Vassar College, Manhattan’s Anthrop Building, the Thayer Hotel at West Point, and the Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY. Conceptual Restoration led a relief convoy to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and continues to provide service as needed in the area. Conceptual Restoration is proud to contribute top-quality, cost-efficient work to new projects in the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, as well as the counties of Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Hudson, Union, and Bergen.
